Lucy Depp Park Civic Association

Bringing our community together.

For over 50 years

The Lucy Depp Park Civic Association was founded by the first residents of LDP. It was disbanded in the 50’s, but was re-organized in 1967 (the original by-laws are below) and was very active in local affairs at the time.

It was re-organized again in the 90s and today maintains a mix of membership from original residents that built their homes in the 60s to homeowners new to the neighborhood.

We meet monthly and stay active in representing our residents needs and concerns to Concord Township and more. Our goals are to build community, citizenship, and taking an active role in community affairs.

We organize several events a year, from an annual clean-up of the neighborhood in the spring to the Labor Day picnic at the barn.

Some of our accomplishments include raising funds for two historical markers and successfully lobbying for the newest Dublin elementary school to be named “Abraham Depp Elementary.”

If you are a Lucy Depp Park resident or nearby neighbor and would like to keep up to date on current events feel free to join our Facebook group.

This is a photo of the Civic Association & friends responsible for the naming of the new Dublin elementary and was taken by Dublin Schools. It was photographed minutes after the school board voted unanimously to name the new school in Jerome Village “Abraham Depp Elementary.” Lots of people worked long and hard for this recognition and this moment was very emotional for many people.
